Replacing Cast Iron Downpipes with Cast Aluminium

Cast aluminium downpipes are ideal for replacing cast iron downpipes while keeping the traditional look.

The damaged cast iron rainwater pipes on this traditional Nottinghamshire property were recently replaced with 76mm square cast collared cast aluminium downpipes from Aluminium Superstore.

Finished in a textured black paint to match the existing cast iron system, these square downpipes, along with a 135° bend, cast eared shoe, two-part swan neck and flush fit pipe clips.
