How to Install Aluminium Copings
- Fixing Instructions: Aluminium copings are typically installed with non-penetrating fixings using adaptable coping brackets. Brackets should be spaced no more than 1.5 meters apart, with one at each joint abutment. Apply two beads of silicone sealant to the brackets before clicking the coping panels into place.
- Cutting and Finishing: Touch up any cut edges with touch-up paint to protect the aluminium and ensure a smooth finish.
- Angles and Falls: Unlike traditional lime coping stones, aluminium copings do not stain building facades and can be installed flat. Small packers can be placed under the coping brackets during installation if a slight fall is desired.
